About

My sculptural vases are hand built in an asymmetrical fashion with gesture suggesting anthropomorphic forms. I use stoneware clay that has been sculpted, cast, altered and combined to accomplish this. Often surface decoration embellishes the human or animal like nature of these shapes. The wall pieces I produce with similar techniques and material refer to landscape both natural and those altered by man.
